Essex Heating Services can repair; service or replace /upgrade your boiler. All of our work is carried out to strict regulations.

Boiler service: – There are two types of boiler service depending on the boiler type that you have and how old the appliance is, that is:

1. Non-intrusive service boiler where it is not necessary to dismantle the heat engine due to the ratio of combustion gases being within certain parameters. The boiler will be dismantled to allow the condense trap to be cleaned out, the operating and standing gas pressure to be taken and the unit cleaned. The combustion gases will be analyzed and gas safety checks taken. A visual inspection of the boiler will be carried out and the testing of the controls to see if there are any problems that need to be addressed. Cleaning out of the central magnetic filter (if you have one installed). The flue will be inspected for it integrity.

2. An intrusive service will cover all of the Non-Intrusive service but will also include the cleaning of the Heat Exchanger and burner. Service Kits may be required depending on the age of the boiler and the manufacturer’s service requirements.
