There are a number of Warm Air Units on the market ( Reznor; Powmatic; Ambirad Benson and others). Generally they are suspended from the roof and can be linked in with destratification fans. Others are located at ground level and are called Cabinet Heaters. There are also Radiant Space Heaters.

Depending on the unit type during a service it will be dismantled and thoroughly cleaned. The Thermocouple will be tested and replaced if required. The Gas Safety checks will be carried out together with a smoke test done to make sure that the products of combustion are being evacuated via the flue.
