Kitchen Installation

Essex Heating Services can undertake pipe-work alterations to enable the installation of the following kitchen appliances:

Gas Cookers and Gas Hobs
Washing Machines and Free Standing Dishwashers
Sinks and Macerators.

For gas works, before starting, we carry out a Gas Tightness Test to ensure that the gas pipe work is not leaking. We will then carry out the works and then carry out a further Gas Tightness test. After the works are completed we will issue a Gas Certificate.

We are also happy to work along side your Kitchen designer and installer.

Carbon Monoxide and Gas Leaks

Carbon Monoxide is colourless, odourless and tasteless. It is often referred to as the silent killer as we can't sense it. You should always have a Carbon Monoxide Detector fitted. Your Gas Appliances should be checked on a regular basis by a Gas Safe Registered Engineer.

Un-Containable Water Leak

Make sure that you know where the Stop Cock is for your water supply. In the event of a Water Leak turn the stop cock off and give us a call. Make sure that your insurance policy covers you for water leaks.
